Our Photographic prints are produced using the techniques used by the most prestigious exhibitions. For each Photographic Work of Art we produce a very limited number of editions. Under the supervision of the artist, the Original prints are numbered and signed and provided with our Official Certificate of Authenticity.

Baron Grafton Arthouse Original Edition Photographic Prints are what is called Chromographic prints, also known as C-Print or C-type Prints. These are traditional photographic prints but made from a digital file rather than a negative where the image is exposed using laser-based technology.
The exposed paper is then traditionally ‘wet’ processed using photographic chemistry, in much the same manner as traditional photographic colour or black and white prints produced using negatives with an enlarger in a darkroom.

At Baron Grafton Arthouse we proof each and every Artwork until we are 100% happy with the proof obtained. We test different papers, contrast control, cropping, etc…till we know is right. Then we supervise the production of each Original Photographic print to make sure we produce a state-of-the-Art Work of Art every time.
Non-digital Printing with All the Benefits of Digital Control
Our photographic printing on traditional type photographic papers, offers the tactility of a traditional photographic Gallery quality print that showcases the artistic Photographic qualities of the work at its best. The benefits of digital modern technologies are combined with a photochemical process using real photographic paper expose using LED, pixel by pixel, and handled in a dark room to develop the image. This phase is followed by fixing, washing and then drying the image.

Every Original Photographic print we produce has a remarkable definition, defined brilliance, optimal sharpness and contrast in colour as well as in black and white.
Solid and Lightweight
Our Original Photographic Prints are mounted onto a Dibond backing consisting of two thin layers of aluminium sandwiched around a polyethylene core. This elegant quality finish offers a lightweight solid support to ensure the Photographs will remain flat and will not warp over time even in extra large sizes.
Mounted under Crystal Clear Acrylic Glass
The Dibond is then mounted under 2mm lightweight shatterproof Gloss Acrylic Glass to bring out the luminosity of the colours, enhance the features of the Original Photography and offer extra protection.
